Really interesting article in yesterday's How To Spend It magazine with the Financial Times focusing on the growing collaborative design projects between international niche fashion designers and global interiors brands

Jonathan Saunders and Rodarte make an appearance due to their recent rug design collaborations with The Rug Company

Saunders has created the stunning Herringbone (shown here) and Nouveau hand-knotted Tibetan wool rugs, alongside two equally vibrant runner designs, the Harrington and Hutton

The Rodarte sisters, Kate and Laura Mulleavy have created a four piece collection, to include the Cobalt Motif (shown here) an exquisite design of hand-knotted Tibetan wool and silk, inspired by the Northern Californian interiors and the blue and white porcelain of their childhood

These and all The Rug Company's designs are available exlcusively in Ireland at Maoliosa, please contact me directly for more information
